Hi, I'm Katie!
Even though I, and Iām sure your friends and family, will say āIāve been thereā¦ā it doesnāt really help does it? Sleep struggles are real and theyāre hard! Sleep is one of the most important survival needs so when weāre being deprived, it can affect every element of our lives. Let me tell you a little about me and how I can support you and your family to get some well-deserved rest!
I am a mother of 3 children, all spirited, but very different from each other. I have a background in retail analytics and mathematics, dealing with logic, patterns and reason to manage and affect required outcomes. After becoming a mother, I was BAFFLED! Where was the logic? Where were the patterns? How could I make sense of all the ārandomnessā of it all? With each child I only got more confused, each one seemed to ābreak the mouldā so the solution for one didnāt work for the other.
I am now determined that no family needs to suffer!
After a baby who was an excellent sleeper but a terrible feeder, came a great eater but one who refused to sleep. I still remember our first full nightās sleep after my second child when she was nearly 3 years old! After having my third baby I was exhausted. In a moment of desperation at 2am (the normal time to start a thorough investigation) I started researching sleep support. All I could think was āsurely there must be something or someone that could help me!ā. I started reading up about sleep and got hooked.
I realised that I didnāt need to suffer. And for the development and emotional health of my baby and family, we all needed to get better sleep.
