Hey, I'm Alexis

I know people say that babies/children learn to sleep when they are ready but with sleep being as important as eating (if not more so at times) why wait? You wouldn’t wait if you were hungry to eat. 

I believe that your little one needs support to learn how to fall asleep independently as often the skill doesn’t come as naturally as we may have thought (or would like).

My mission is to help tired parents enjoy time with…and without their babies safe in the knowledge that bedtime means bedtime.

I’ve been where you are now!

Waking every 45 minutes! The anxiety at bedtime! Not knowing how long I would get to sleep! 

As a new mum, I expected a certain amount of sleepless nights and to start, I was dealing with it well. 

I’d heard of the 4-month sleep regression but at 4-and-a-half months he was sleeping 6-hour stretches (sometimes more) and I thanked my lucky stars for gracing me with one of those dream babies that just sleeps. 

How wrong was I? 

We edged closer to 5 months and all sleep went out the window, along with my sanity! He suddenly dropped to a maximum of 2-hour stretches and 45 minutes was a common theme. 

I wasn’t feeling myself and was suffering from severe anxiety, a lack motivation and sleep deprivation. I NEEDED HELP – and fast!

Getting that help!

After finding someone who could help, a brief discussion and some knowing looks, we signed up as a desperate mum, a sceptical dad and an exhausted baby boy. My husband now proclaims it to be the best thing we did…obviously, I’d have to agree! 

Within a few weeks, we were all sleeping better and I was a happy mummy again! That is exactly what I want to be able to do for you.

I know how sleep deprivation can play havoc with your mind and your relationships, which is why I want to help you and your family be better rested so you can focus on being the great parents that you are without the stress and worry of being overtired.

I would highly recommend Alexis to anyone with sleep issues.

For months we struggled to settle our baby each night until eventually, frustrated and exhausted, we decided we needed to try something different. Alexis was patient and reassuring and gave us the tools we needed and, importantly, the confidence to make a change.
We were surprised at how quickly our 11 month old responded to the changes and started settling in her cot in the evening and at how much happier she was – we hadn’t realised just how much her sleep issues were impacting her daytime mood. Alexis was also there to support us during a setback due to a serious illness and hospital stay and she is now happily fully recovered and actually even enjoys bedtime these days!

Whilst we didn’t have huge issues, we asked Alexis to support us with a bit of reassurance. Our little one only slept during breastfeeding which put a lot of pressure on mum.

Alexis gave us not just valuable advice, but an empathetic approach to creating a bespoke sleep schedule that worked for us. She is approachable and most importantly, very caring.

Super support when desperately needed. Was so good having someone on my side that understood exactly what I was going through. Alexis helped with our little boy he would only sleep on his front for a couple of hours at a time and he would cry as soon as we would put him down. Now our little boy is doing 5-hour stretches at night sleeping on his back (he has since slept through too!) He settles so much better.

Alexis is very professional, great communication and easy to talk to. Thanks again for all your help!!

Alexis helped us with our 6-month old. He only slept for between 2-3 hours at any one time and wasn’t able to self soothe. I had to either feed him to sleep or walk around rocking him until he fell asleep, this could take hours. Sometimes he would wake as soon as we put him down and we’d have to start all over. I was exhausted and I dreaded bedtime.

Then we found Alexis and our lives changed! She was so kind, helpful, knowledgeable and really listened to our concerns to work with us and advise us of the best options for us.

Our son now self soothes, sleeps from 7 pm – 7 am and has 3 naps a day. It’s incredible!!

I’d never heard of sleep consultants before and now I couldn’t recommend Alexis highly enough.

I stumbled across Sleepy Lambs on a google search after weeks of sleep deprivation after my LO went back to his childminder after having 6 months of lockdown at home with Mummy. He had bad separation anxiety and it was taking me hours some nights to get him to sleep. We had tried almost everything but never had anyone telling us we were doing it right and to give us the reassurance we needed.

We were lucky enough to have been assigned Alexis to help. As soon as we had our initial consultation I felt so much more confident and reassured that everything would get better and here we are 3 weeks later sadly saying goodbye to Alexis after all of her help. Charlie is now in bed asleep inside 10mins and all of this has been done without any crying or distress. We are still working on the early wake-ups but I have been left with some suggestions and techniques to work with.
